چکیده
We theoretically analyze collective modes in unconventional superconductors focusing on the Bardasis-Schrieffer (BS) mode and its contribution to third-harmonic generation currents. Starting from a model with competing superconducting pairing instabilities we add fluctuations of fields beyond saddle point approximation calculate their response driving electric field. To phase appropriately take into account effect long-range Coulomb interaction. While is pushed plasmon frequency, as known literature, show that BS remains unaffected. Furthermore, it has characteristic polarization dependence and, unlike Higgs mode, generates current perpendicular direction applied find excitations contribute sizable signal generated current, which clearly distinguishable charge density due Cooper-pair-breaking effects can be straightforwardly detected experiment.

متن کاملHigher Efficiency Switching Mode Power Amplifier Design using the Third-Harmonic Peaking Turning Mode
This paper provides the design approach of one stage switching-mode based class F power amplifier (PA).The device’s nonlinear behavior was analyzed to reduce the dissipated power over the active device and therefore the PA efficiency was increase without having to compromise the power amplifier’s size. The load harmonics were controlled so that the drain voltage and the drain current do rarely ...
متن کاملSignatures of Coronal Currents in Microwave Images
Microwave emission from solar active regions at frequencies above 4 GHz is dominated by gyroresonance opacity in strong coronal magnetic elds, which allows us to use radio observations to measure coronal magnetic eld strengths. In this paper we demonstrate one powerful consequence of this fact: the ability to identify coronal currents from their signatures in microwave images. Speciically, we c...
متن کامل16-fs, 1-microJ ultraviolet pulses generated by third-harmonic conversion in air.
We describe a simple method for generating sub-20-fs ultraviolet light pulses with useful average powers, using a kilohertz Ti:sapphire laser system. By focusing a 22-fs, 1-mJ laser pulse in air, we obtain ultraviolet pulses with an energy of 1 microJ and at a wavelength of 266 nm and with an average power of 1 mW. The pulse duration of the ultraviolet pulses was measured to be 16 fs with frequ...
